I'm very pleased to announce that WEI have accepted an invitation to assist with key research into cichlid fish speciation in the volcanic crater lakes around Lake Malawi in Tanzania.
These fragile habitats offer a unique opportunity to learn more about the evolution of species, especially in regards to the controversial process of sympatric speciation.
This is the first of a number of initiatives by WEI to aid conservation research in Tanzania. Watch this space!
